Why Can't a Woman: Composers and Lyricists Edition
In 2013’s Why Can’t a Woman, Kimberly Lawson explored the often ridiculous and unrealistic roles created for women on Broadway throughout history. But what happens when women are included in the creative process? Do the women on stage become multi-dimensional? What voices and stories still struggle to be heard? Join us as we explore and pay tribute to the women of musical theater.
